Retro pixel art Eid al adha animated video
A pixel art illustration project inspired by retro 80s 8/16 bit video games that we used to enjoy during the holidays. Eid Al Adha is all about good food and fun times. Sheep are sacrificed to provide meat to the poor and the community. Depicted in a pac-man style video game is a butcher chasing after the sheep to turn it into "Fettah". A traditional Egyptian dish made of meat, rice, and tomato sauce. Served in large portions during family and community functions to get people together. It's always a happy time in the year, even better with fun video games and bits of meat stolen as mom cooks them behind her back.
